What if the key to building a sustainable creative business was actually more play! After 8 years of growing my creative business and 6 years self-employed, this is the thing nobody talks about enough.

When you start your creative business journey it seems like everything is about optimizing, monetizing, and analyzing so you can grow, go full time, and live that dream creative life. But the thing that actually made it sustainable is making time to play and live the life we started a business for in the first place.

Of course there are seasons of hustle, especially when you're building something new or getting things going, but it's SO important to enjoy the journey too and do things just for fun.
