Knitwear care and FAQ

I want you to love your knits for as long as possible!

Cleaning Your Knits

All of the knits are made with 100% Peruvian wool or 100% hand dyed merino wool. Fortunately, for you, this means they are moisture-wicking and odor-resistant! If you do need to clean your item, I highly recommend only spot cleaning when necessary with cold water and wool wash. Lay flat to dry.

Faux Fur Pom Pom Care

All of the faux fur pom poms are made with a polyester fabric and hand sewn. To keep your pom pom looking as fluffy as the day you got it, gently blow dry with cool air!

Beanie is Fuzzy or Pilling

A fabric shaver is your friend! Every season, I give my knitwear a once over with a fabric shaver to defuzz. Your knits will look good as new!

Beanie Too Small

If you’re beanie feels snug or too small, know that wool will stretch over time and mold to your head. If your beanie still feels too snug after repeated wear, you may stretch out the beanie by soaking in cool water, gently squeeze out excess moisture by rolling in a dry towel, reshaping and stretching gently, and laying the beanie flat to dry.

Beanie Stretched Out

Wool naturally stretches out over time. If your beanie feels like it has stretched out and is too big, you may try and reshape it by soaking it in cool water, gently squeeze out excess moisture by rolling in a dry towel, reshaping to a smaller size, and laying the beanie flat to dry.
