Stickers are here!
Combining my two loves into one: Camping and Knitting!
I don’t know about you, but I LOVE stickers!
As a kid, I had sticker books, collected stickers, and put them on everything (sorry mom!). As an adult, stickers became more of a badge of representation and a way to show off an adventurous outdoorsy personality.
Have you ever seen a Nalgene with no stickers on it?
On trips or adventures, I’d collect stickers from different National Parks, various ski resorts, and other fun outdoorsy activities. I really wished there were some knitting related ones that tied my love of knitting with my love of the outdoors so I decided to make my own! I’m by no means a graphic designer nor do I have the Adobe suite, so how did I make them? For some of the designs, I hired my dear friend with Adobe Illustrator and graphics skills to help me make a few. I then decided that I wanted try making some myself and combined the magic of Creative Market and Canva.
Creative market is an amazing platform for artists to sell their work. You have several different licensing options when purchasing their art and I went with the commercial option. It's a great way to support them and give attribution too! I bought a few graphics, then used Canva to create the stickers. I love Canva and have used it for everything from my pattern templates to the thank you cards in my packaging and even my entire Creating Your Brand workbook! From there, I got the stickers made on Sticker Mule!
Anyways, I’m very excited to be bringing stickers to the shop. Will you be collecting any?
